Oh, I was sooooo upset - why didn't I wait a bit longer. A couple of months ago I've stumbled upon mactatic site and bookmarked it for future. I think they didn't have the Dashboard widget yet. So now I've installed the Widget - thank you. But it shows that MacBook Pro Intel Core 2 Duo is "About to be discontinued". Does it say the same thing on your widget? Happened to me a couple of years ago actually. Bought a Mac Mini, waited a few weeks for it be to be delivered and within days (it seemed), an upgraded model was available for a cheaper price.
