I am still undecided about twitter though I must say that using Tweetdeck makes it have more potential for connecting with possible clients and your peers. Tweetdeck allows you to see tweets immediately and so brings more of a conversational element to everything. Will have to wait and see how it goes

All silliness aside I’d be curious to know how the Twitter thing is going for you. Personally – I know I sound like an old stick in the mud here – Twitter just rubs me the wrong way. Though I can see how it might have some extremely minimal SEO benefit it seems to me more of a teen and tween fad than something worth wasting precious work hours on. I’m more than happy to be proven wrong but so far I haven’t found anyone who can give me a solid reason for pursuing an active Twitter account other than ‘everybody’s doing it!’ Looking forward to hearing your perspective. Love your blog!

Thanks for your comment. It is too early for me to say about twitter – I have only been on there about a week or two. I can say though that I am on Face book (personally not because of my blog) and this has got me back in touch with one of my friends I went to college with (and worked with in one job) and we are now meeting up regularly.

I must confess I am not much into social networking but now that almost all my peers are insisting that I join a few social networking sites, I guess I would start with twitter and facebook.
