Great Book for Web Design Inspiration
I have been searching for a long time for a good book on webdesign – the aesthetics rather than technical issues and this is just it. The book is about 2/3 A4 portrait size about 370 ish pages, each spread contains 6 website images with web address and company etc beneath it. The websites seem to be arranged in colour order ranging from very minimal and white at the beginning to brighter in the middle and black based sites at the end. It is a great source of inspirarion for anyone designing websites and also has a CD at the back containing all the web images in the same order as the book with links to the sites.

Looks good, and its on sale at amazon.
Does anyone know any other books that they think are essential reading?
Great Website! It helps me a lot with my tough homework. I’m not so hot in that class
Thanks for the hard work, keep it up!
Do you use this book yourself? I presume there is an index 1,2,3,4 & 5… I’m going to hop over to Amazon and check it out – thanks for the heads up.
Hi Elliot, yes I do – its split up by colour starting with minimal white then grouping sites by dominant colour (quite a strange way to group them I guess). I also have The Web Designers Idea Book (Patrick McNeil), and Icons – Web Design portfolios (Ed. Julius Wiedmann) which are similar books – showing loads of different websites.
