The site sounds like a really good idea. The bad part though is if your stuff isn’t perfect no one will want it lol. Tough for people to star out, ya know?

I can see that this would be great for people who can do the beautiful illustration/photo blend. I'd say that style is more art than design (in fact, they actually changed the title of the showcase from graphic designers to illustrators!), but those with really good Photoshop skills could make some money off this site! Don't think I'm brave enough to upload anything yet... hehe

Hi Tara,

I’ve used a bunch of these different kinds of sites (not this one in particular). They’re great for the occational gift or promotional item but I have yet to make anything more than beer money in return.

If you are out there and doing it I’d love to learn how you made it happen. Did you do a special promo on your own site to advertise or did you use their site to promote? How did you get your submission noticed? Were you a featured artist?
