Google Has Gone All Arty

google art and design themes

I am not usually a fan of fancy screen savers etc, I generally just stick with the standard default (boring eh!), but I was intrigued to see Google are providing arty themes you can skin your google home page with. My Google home page is already set to have my local weather and my RSS blog feeds but now it can be personalised too. There are loads of themes to choose from. Another thing to waste a bit of time on when I should be working ;) .

I do like fancy screen saver. It is a good introduction. But sometimes my computer works slowly if I use screen saver. Do you know why?

There are far too many distractions out there on the web, its best to be disciplined and get down to doing some work, especially if you are freelancing.

Hey, why am I reading this blog I’ve got deadlines to meet!

Mind you if you can use Macromedia Flash you can develop your own screensavers(and sell them to your clients). There is a little utility program I bought a while ago which lets you churn them out in no-time. However, its not something that I have promoted myself in a while, I guess I am not that enthusiastic about screensavers.

Very cool designs, but I like the themes with sunrising and sunset:)…
Maybe there is a better one.
