Love your portfolio, absolutely fab work!

I agree, that long hours can be necessary in the beginning, but over the years these tend to (or should do really) reduce as your prices go up as you become more experienced as a &#039;business person&#039; and you build up your client base more and more. So you earn the same but for less hours.

I now tend to start work at about 10am, but don&#039;t often work much later than 10pm, and I have a 3yr old child with me all day as well, so that&#039;s not solid working for 12 hours or anything. It&#039;s very much broken up and working on and off all day.

I&#039;m five years in, and I probably work about 40hours a week, and around 50 hours during busy times, I don&#039;t think I tend to go much beyond this very often.</description>

Thanks thats another confidence boost for me to make the step forwards. Really like the upriseart blog and the tips on making a PC to a MAC :D my imac died last week and need my fix.
