I really liked the concept of this blog, Im a bit disappointed though i thought that there would be definite trends to the sketches and perhaps even some almost identical designs. Iv always said that i don't believe that its all that possible to be completely original because of the sheer amount of e commerce and advertising we are subjected to in our daily lives you can find your self with a brilliant idea only to realise your actually recalling a past design you only vaguely remember. I think the findings of this experiment would be more fruitful if the people taking part didn't know what the study was for and they where asked to supply their original sketches with their finalised designs.

I think all are intersting in their approaches, although Paul's more "concrete" designs appeal to me a little more (maybe it's a "guy" thing...). :) It just seems simpler and more symbolic, two things I always strive for. I think you should all get lovely consolation prize for your wonderfully creative designs and good-spirited participation! :)

Speaking of designers thinking alike, for some reason, Rob's page design reminds me of David's (blue skies, clouds, similar font...) or vice versa. Hmmm, maybe there is some parallel thinking happening or it was just a great idea begging to be discovered again! :)

Indeed very good designs here. I know it is not a contest but both your ideas an Paul's seem really professional (since you both are) and indeed is some cases really lookalike :P

Isn't it strange how sometimes the best visuals come from plain words?! ;)

Hi Siong

Thank you for taking part, I can see similarities between mine and yours with the back to front "C" :)

I definately work in a similar way to Paul with the word association - just looked to see if I had saved mine, but I threw them out, doh! :(
