I would like to produce a memory book for my mother who passed away last month from cancer….. there needs to be pictures (text,tributes,quotes, stories, etc). Would anyone be interested in doing this as a project?

Samples of artworks works for me when i was a newbie. But of course when giving out a sample give your best shot to it.Remember that first impression lasts.

Off-topic, again the ‘notify me of followup comments via e-mail’ text appears at the foot of your site, rather than just below the comment box, so for short posts, like this one, I have to scroll way down in order to see it (I knew it’d be there as I’ve seen the same issue before). Thanks for letting me know about the RSS feed, I don’t suppose you know how to fix it do you please? I have had a look in the CSS but am not sure what I am looking for? Would it be with the regular template CSS?

Hi Tara,

I don’t know of any other resources for practice briefs (that sounds like some kind of training nappy), but I do agree that they’re a great way to practice and put some project work in the portfolio.

Thought you’d like to know that your images via RSS appear with no space between them and the text.
