How cool (and totally pointless – but love it) is this fold up garden – just sprinkle in seeds and off you go. As a wannabe inventor I love clever stuff like this. Check out the video.

Hi Tara, This is really cool. Do you know where you can get these from as could not find the site? as would love to get one.
Hi Logo Design Monster – sorry here’s their website http://www.postcarden.com/index
LOL! I love stop motion animation! Nice find ^.^
Cool, Thanks for the web address Tara. Am going to go check it out now. This was a great idea for a post.
Very cool concept, however pointless it may be! Thanks for adding the link to the website
Not totally pointless, but kinda, still very cool.
They are really cute! Do you have to get the seeds yourself, or they come with it?
Very innovative Idea. Thanks for sharing.
A very interesting but cool idea. Would make a nice gift for some one who likes gardening. Thanks for the info and link
Not completely pointless! Especially if you were to grow herbs or something? Really cool design, it reminds me of the crystal gardens I used to get as a kid..now they were pointless!
Wow… Really Very Very nice.
NIce find!
I totally need to send a bunch of these to my family
Pointless inventions for the win !
Thanks Tara! My kids will love this! I will goto the website
I too am very much into “Cool and Pointless”! Going to have to head over to postcarden.com to get some for my daughter. She’s into chia pets, homemade crystal science projects, etc. These would be a great gift for her to give out at the seemingly hundreds of birthday parties she goes to every year! Great find.
@ Catherine – totally agree – sell these with herbs because cress is only a 5 out of 10 in terms of excitement. Mint would be good, but then I guess you would need to use soil? Or maybe some sort of plant grow or liquid fertiliser. Very cool idea Tara thanks for sharing.
So I don’t get it, the seeds are not already embedded in the garden? Isnt that more like fold up mulch or top soil or someting?
