Channel 4 Ident Animation Competition

Channel 4 are holding a competition to design a Channel 4 animated ident.

“What is required?
A written treatment, storyboard and/or rough animatic for a 15-second sting – plus your current showreel. The prize is to have your idea realised and worked up with a 4Creative art director, then go on to make the ident at the MPC post-production facility in Soho.”

As well as seeing their idea brought to life the winner will also win £2,500

Deadline for entries 31st August

    I love the current Channel 4 idents – I think they’re absolutely brilliant. And I’d love to see how they do them.

    Wait, isn’t this the channel that has the logo that looks like it’s flipping people off?? Oh, I bet they’ll get some interesting animations for that one!

    Hi Aaron, I love the idents too. Especially thos enew one where they make the 4 look like all different things – tower block etc.

    Hi Lauren, no this is a different channel. I don’t think I will have time to enter I am too busy panicking about the brand licensing show :)
